Innovative Education Alliance (IEA) set up its overseas promotion office at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas（DLSU-D）in the Philippines on July 22. Dr. Lu hsiu-chin, NTUE, member of IEA, and Dr. Johnny A. Ching, the dean of College of Science and Computer Studies, DLSU-D both attended the launching ceremony. Philippine promotion office, IEA, will consist on assisting members to promote various kinds of innovative education business.
Dr. Johnny A. Ching led his teams to Taiwan and signed MOU with IEA on June 17, 2019. DLSU-D has officially become a member of IEA. IEA can assist members to bridge the gap between companies in the Philippines more efficiently after the promotion office was set up.
In the launching ceremony, Director Johnny A. Ching quoted Helen Keller’s saying, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
“This cooperation on education-based programs and events be benefical to strengthen the “industry-academia” cooperation model in Taiwan” Dr. Lu hsiu-chin said.
IEA’s mission is to bring “Educational sharing economy” to the world through having partnerships with companies. We can share teaching aids, courses, teachers, space and other resources across countries through remote learning, STEAM education, O2O (Online to Offline), etc.
